My wife and I were having brake light problems with our 2008 Hyundai Veracruz. We had it worked on at Hyundai of Asheville Monday Sept 23rd and Friday Sept 27th. After spending countless hours and money at Hyundai of Asheville they couldn't find a solution to our problem. On Monday Sept 30th we decided to have my parents take our car to Hunter. Technician James Middleton took his time to diagnose our Veracruz from top to bottom and find the underlying problem. We were not there personally to thank him for all his hard work. However I wanted to write a review on their website to thank him. If we ever have another problem with our car we WILL be back. Thanks again to James and all the people in the service dept. for all their hard work and dedication to great customer service dating and day out.
Tom the owner and Chris the sales manager got us the car we wanted and resolved a problem we were having. Tom was wonderful and it's a great service being able to speak with him directly.
I am from Jonesborough, TN and was shopping nearby areas to find the Elantra that I wanted. Hunter was able to guide me with an option to match and beat the competitor in Johnson City. After being misled by the JC dealer that they wouldn't "fully service my needs" if purchases in NC, I hesitantly purchased the Elantra in JC as it was the last one and feared they would not get any more in at the same price - per dealer. My decision was my hastiness, and no fault of yours. Location played a role too, but little did I know that Hunter was willing to deliver to me. I wish I had finalized my decision with Hunter - I felt comfortable talking to them even after the purchase and they even helped with info so I could return to the JC location and get the lower advertised rate. I will refer my friends to include Hunter in their search. I will even drive them if they need to get there to find the car. I am pleased with Hyundai, but even more pleased with the type of service I received from Hunter. I am planning my vacation to FL and hope to stop by and meet and thank you ALL for being such a great team. My family near Greenville, SC and near Chapel Hill, NC will hear of your great service. I used to go to Bob Jones University in SC and I am sure there are students as well as staff members (like my pastor's daughter) who would love to hear about your Dealership. You deserved my business, but you at least have earned my respect (even thought I made a mistake and did business elsewhere). I will sing your praises. I have a class reunion this evening. If asked I will be happy and report where I got my car, but I will also include, "make sure you check out Hunter Hyundai in NC if you are in the market for a vehicle - Randy Hunter and his team will treat you right!" I went through a divorce a few years ago and my x wife did everything she could to destroy my credit! My F150 had 186,000 miles on it when the engine blew and caught me off guard. I didn't have any money saved for a down payment and I have to have a car to get to work so I don't loose my job! I had been approved at 3 other by here pay here places but they all wanted 1500 to 3000 up front. Which I didn't have! To of the guys gave me a paper with directions to see Shawn Lambert at first choice for the 99 cent deal and I am so thankful they did! I pulled in and wasn't impressed because they only had 6 cars but I was lucky because the Altima pulled up as I decided to go in anyway. Shawn is a straight up no BS guy and had me printed up and driving off with in the hour. I have sent 3 of my family and friends there already and like the guys at the other car dealerships, I highly recommend you go see Shawn Lambert at the Hunter first choice auto.
the best experience I have ever had. I can tell you some bad stories but not here Victor was the best ever. I am going tell all my friends to go see Victor. The whole experience was great. Randy Hunter was great too. We have never purchased a new car till now . Victor did a great job finding the perfect car for our budget.

Ethel was extremely helpful. She tolerated me with ease and a smile. She was very polite a real go getter. She got us what we needed without any hesitation or irritation. I knew I was possibly a needy customer and she tolerated me with ease. She worked around us and made it a pleasure to purchase an SUV. I am extremely happy with the service we received from her and would happily purchase another SUV, Car, etc from Hunter, from Ethel.
Also, Danny Prince the service manager, he is as helpful to us as Ethel was and is.

This has been by far the worst service I have ever had at any service center. I currently have been waiting for over 6 hours, and it honestly looks like it will be running into 7 hours. I will NEVER deal with this dealership again. My service consultant doesn't act like he gives a damn about me, because I bought a used car and it's not new. The mechanic assigned to my car took a lunch break while working on my car. This is something that is highly unprofessional while you have a customer waiting in the waiting room. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, AND I HAVE HUNTER HYUNDAI OF HENDERSONVILLE, NC TO THANK
William our salesman was very patient with us and allowed us proceed at our pace. He was not pushy and answered our every question. He was courteous and polite offering us anything to make us comfortable. He even allowed us to check out the competition knowing full well that his offer was the best. When it comes time to trade another car we will look to William first for help.
Please stop calling me. Somehow you guys got my phone number, and call my cell phone daily in the middle of meetings at work this damn thing rings. And leave the same message "We can help you find your next car, call us back...Sheri" My suggestion - if you call a prospective lead and leave a message, do not keep calling them back. It really leaves a bad impression.
Always has been rewarding, especially when dealing with Gala the sales person for our last four new autos.
All went very well from Victor showing us around and letting us drive 2 different vehicles and discuss the differences in 3 different models including the Hyundai. Our friend Gala helped us all close the deal with professionalism and kindness.

I've been coming to Hunter for over six years with my 2004 Chevy Silverado. Danny Prince (Service Consultant) always greets me with a smile and handshake. He is the right man to have out in front working with customers.
I left my truck for an oil change and went to the parts counter to order a tailgate handle bezel. Ashley informed me that they no longer stock GM parts but contacted a local Chevy dealer and had the part brought over. Danny had the bezel installed at no charge.
I feel confident bringing my truck to Hunter and highly recommend their Service department. Danny explains all charges up front, answers any questios, and makes sure I'm satisfied with the maintenace work.
Had a great Service experience! Will be back soon! Danny Hudson is the nicest person and provided me with a world of knowledge about my car.
We have purchased 2 cars since we moved to NC, both from Hunter and have had them serviced there. Every encounter we have had with Hunter, sales people to service people has been excellent. Daniel Prince in the service department has always gone beyond what he has to do to see that we get great customer serivce. I would not consider purchasing a car anywhere else. I always feel like a valued customer whenever I am there.
My wife and I wife stopped by Hunter Hyundai to look at purchasing a new vehicle. We were kept waiting for quite some time. I had previously visited this dealership on several occasions in search of just the right vehicle. We finally were waited on and asked to take an extended test drive. The manager came out and told me that when he, "saw the down payment cash in hand" then we could take a test drive. Needless to say, we left. About two hours later we were at the Kia dealership in Asheville and purchased our new car. Much better sales and service. Listen to your customer.
