I am extremely disappointed with the service department at Hunter Hyundai. This is the second time I've left feeling like I couldn't trust the recommendations I was given. During my recent visit, I was told I needed to replace all four tires. The problem is that this dealership supposedly replaced one of those tires less than two months ago. If one tire was truly replaced recently, it should not have shown the same amount of wear. When I questioned this, the service advisor said he "remembered" me mentioning the tire had been replaced. That information shouldn't have come from memory—it should have been obvious from the inspection and service records. To make matters worse, they send you a text with a number to contact if you have questions. As soon as I pointed out the inconsistency with the tires, my messages went unanswered. No explanation. No follow-up. Since this happened at the end of the month, it honestly made me wonder if they were trying to meet sales quotas by recommending unnecessary work. I can't say that's what happened, but the circumstances certainly made it feel that way. Trust is everything when it comes to vehicle service, and unfortunately, Hunter Hyundai has now disappointed me twice. I'll be looking elsewhere for future service.

My 2023 Hyundai Kona was serviced by Hunter Hyundai’s service department and they truly lived up to their Hometown Promise by not only replacing a broken part that was covered under warranty, at no charge to me, but also by offering me a free shuttle so that I didn’t have to spend the day in the service center’s waiting room. And they finished the job same day, just as promised. It was a complicated procedure, and I appreciated Robert’s cordial shuttle ride so that I could be comfortable in my home and allow the techs to do what they needed to do, which they actually were able to do in a very timely manner. The waiting area was well-lit, lots of seating, even a workspace for a laptop or tablet. Women’s bathroom was very clean. It has been a week since I purchased my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. I had waited two months for a specific color that Hunter Hyundai was able to get. Thomas the sales person was great. He is very knowledgeable, answered my questions, and helped me with all the settings. This is my second Hyundai purchase and I am very pleased.

I’m giving Hunter Hyundai 5 stars based on my experience with my internet sales associate Lisa Schillig and my sales floor associate Thomas Bowkett. I explained to them before I ever walked in a diagnosis I have that can cause me anxiety and aggression in public places and that I needed a streamlined process. They both did exactly what I asked for before my appointment. I got a bumped up value for my trade in once they saw it and knew that I had the monthly payment that I wanted. The sales manager almost made me walk out with the extended warranty pitch. The top option was twice what the car payment is and the cheapest would have doubled the monthly payment. If I could afford that, I wouldn’t be buying a 6 year old used vehicle. Each time I refused, he would present another option and would not just finish the process so I could get out of there. He almost cost them the sale, but Lisa and Thomas had given me exactly what I asked and needed from them. They deserve my recognition and appreciation for doing their jobs well. I love my Kona!

I have had all service done on my 2011 Hyundai Veracruz at Hunter Hyundai in Arden. Customer service has been excellent and service work the same. Love the brand and the company, would do business with them again.

We usually hate to deal with car dealerships but our experience with Hunter Hyundai was excellent. We worked with Taylor Strange and Jerry Bump. They were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We were treated fairly and did not feel that we were playing games or being robbed. After finding a Hyundai Santa Fe online, I called Taylor Strange. He was, as others have noted, very easy to work with and I never felt any pressure to buy. I had a few questions about the specific car listed and he found out the information for me quickly. He even picked me up at the airport the next day for the ride to the dealership (I live 500 miles away in another state). It was a smooth transaction and unlike any car buying experience I have every had.

Recently purchased my 6th car from Hunter, my first Hyundai. Hunter has always been transparent, prompt, and fair every single time I've been in. Alex Black, my go to salesperson, is fantastic and a must-meet person if you need a car. Every car I've purchased has been through him and I do not plan on changing that! Thanks Hunter!!

Their Service Department is lacking. Will, why did you not follow up with me and leave me waiting for over an hour when I said that not all of the service was done? You also left my Hyundai Santa Fe running, windows open and doors unlocked. I had to communicate with Marco in the Service Dept. because you ignored me. He said they have been getting lots of complaints about service and wanted to find out the reasons.

Thomas was great!! I’m really enjoying my Rav4. Great service and wonderful experience!!

My wife and I decided to try a switch from Volvo to Hyundai. That was a much smaller leap than we originally anticipated. David Hunter introduced us to our salesman Thomas Bowkett. Thomas was first class! He patiently answered every question. He didn't insist on riding with us for a test drive. And when we finally decided to commit to a new Palisade he made sure we understood everything. Not once did he crack under pressure. Plus he's got a great accent! If you go to Hunter Hyundai, please wait patiently for Thomas to be available. It will be worth it.

We were trying to find a 2026 ioniq 9 calligraphy in a particular color and interior combo locally, unfortunately no one was able to help us. But after doing some internet search we found out that Hunter Hyundai had one coming in. Jenny, David and Alex were all a great help, between all three of them they were able to help us while we were still in South Carolina, over the phone to take care of all the paperwork and making the 4-Hour round trip well worth the drive to pick up our beautiful new car.

On a routine service for a vehicle I did not like, a vehicle in the parking lot spoke to me and a wonder salesman, Alex assisted me in trading. He was knowledgeable, kind and did not use words to trip me up. He listened to my needs and was able to fulfill my request. Great experience from entering the facility. Kind and friendly staff. I’m glad switched car lots.

We drove two hours from Charlotte to Asheville to purchase this car for my son. Trey was very knowledgeable and did a great job getting us through the buying process. The people are very friendly and compared to CLT prices, this dealership knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend!

Jio, Brad, and Brandon were all amazing. Jio was incredibly informative and friendly- his demeanor put us both at ease. Brad was clear and helpful in his financial explanations, and Brandon was extremely accommodating and explained things clearly for us. None of them felt pushy. We are very happy with the customer service we received from Hunter Hyundai, especially with Jiovanni. He was professional and he knowledge about the car we bought was amazing.
